The Post Submit Settings section provides options to configure how posts are handled after submission, including status, button display, redirection, and custom messaging.
Settings Overview
1. Post Status
- Select the default status for posts after submission.
- Options include:
- Pending: The post requires admin approval before it is published.
- Published: The post is automatically published upon submission.
2. Add New Button
- Display or Hide the “Add New” button after post creation or during editing.
- This button allows users to add new posts.
3. Redirect To
- Set the page where users will be redirected after a successful submission.
- Options include:
- No Redirect: Remains on the same page.
- Custom Page: Redirect to a specified page.
4. Draft Button
- Choose to Display or Hide the “Save as Draft” button, allowing users to save their work as a draft without submitting it.
5. Save Draft Button Text
- Customize the text displayed on the “Save as Draft” button. Default is Save Draft.
6. Comment Status
- Set the default comment status for submitted posts.
- Options include:
- Open: Allows comments on the post.
- Closed: Disables comments on the post.
7. Submit Post Button Text
- Customize the text on the submit button. For example, “Submit for Review” or “Submit for $10”.
8. Post Added Message
- Customize the message shown to users after a post is successfully created.
- This message confirms that their post was successfully submitted.

- These settings provide flexibility in controlling post submission flow, status, and user feedback. They are especially useful for sites that allow user-generated content and require payment or moderation for post submissions.
